Where do deleted photos go? Into Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where they stay for 30 days. You can restore them from there.

Why does the first photo take a moment? If Optimise iPhone Storage is on, full-size images are downloaded from iCloud first.

Does deleting here remove photos from my other devices? Yes. With iCloud Photos on, a deletion applies everywhere your library syncs.

Why don't I see photos I've already kept? RollCull leaves kept photos out of later sessions. Turn them back on in Settings.
